Silver nitrate is an inorganic compound with chemical formula AgNO ₃. It is a versatile precursor to many other silver compounds, such as those used in photography. It is far less sensitive to light than the halides.

Micron Platers went into production in 1967 as a job plating shop. Towards the end of 1967 production of Silver Potassium Cyanide, Gold Potassium Cyanide, Silver Cyanide, Copper Cyanide and other metallic Cyanides commenced. Later the production of compounded salts of Precious Metals along with salts of Copper, Brass, Zinc and Cadmium were taken up.
