Isobutyl acetate is produced by esterification process of isobutanol with acetic acid. In order to prepare isobutyl acetate by applying Fischer esterification method, precursors isobutyl alcohol and acetic acid are heated in the presence of strong acid.

In 2016, we started our first business activities in Istanbul head office in supplying high technology industrial materials to major factories in Turkey, Asia and North Africa regions. In 2019, upon receiving several requests coming from our current customers, we decided to add chemical products supply services to our product portfolio. In 2020, we have established a new brand, Petroxim Chemicals, just for this specific area. We have started to serve many industries in a short time with both our current customer portfolio and new customers.
