Diethylene glycol is a compound that occurs in liquid form, it is viscous, colorless and odorless with a sweet taste. It is miscible in water, alcohol, ethylene glycol and is hygroscopic. It is not a corrosive substance but it is combustible. Finally, it is immiscible with benzene, toluene and carbon tetrachloride.
