Titanium dioxide is a white substance with a melting point of 1870 °C, insoluble in water and acids. When heated, it turns yellow, disappearing after cooling. The main properties of titanium dioxide: high whitening ability; good compatibility with any film former; good hiding power; high weather and moisture resistance; non-toxic; chemical resistance.
