Poly propylene glycol-- PPG The monoester of polypropylene glycol is a non-ionic surfactant, which can also react with alcohol to form ether. It is a solvent for vegetable oils, resins and paraffin, and is also used in the preparation of alkyd resins, emulsifiers, demulsifiers, lubricating oils and plasticizers. PPG-200 can be used as a dispersant for pigments. In cosmetics, PPG400~2000 is used as emollient, softener and lubricant. Used as anti-foaming agent in coatings and hydraulic oil, anti-foaming agent in synthetic rubber and latex processing, refrigerant and coolant for heat transfer fluid, and viscosity improver. It is used as an intermediate for esterification, etherification and polycondensation. Used as mold release agent, solubilizer, additive for synthetic oil, additive for water-soluble cutting fluid, roller oil, hydraulic oil, high temperature lubricant, internal lubricant and external lubricant of rubber.
