Active carbon grade AG-3 is a porous substance. During its production from coal dust, the final product is obtained in the form of granules. To produce coal, carbon-containing materials are processed with water vapor at a temperature of more than 850 degrees. The final product is distinguished by a large number of pores, due to which the specific surface area per unit mass increases. This is what makes it possible to achieve high adsorption properties.
